GERALD “JERRY” TUTTLE
FRANKLINTON —Gerald Otis “Jerry” Tuttle, 72, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 15, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest. Burial followed in Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.

He was born in Wake County to the late Woodrow Tuttle and Gladys Lloyd Tuttle. He was retired from the City of Raleigh Fire Department with 34 years of service. He was a former member of the Wake Forest Fire Department and member of the Brassfield Volunteer Fire Department in Granville County for 20 years where he served as chief for 12 of those years.

Surviving: wife, Lynn Tuttle; daughters, Karey Stein (Jayson), Sherri Osterhoudt, Kelli Carrick (Rick), Layne Houston (Bill), Kristy Stevenson (Chris); son, Brent Tuttle (Georgina); and 10 grandchildren.
