ELEANOR P. DENTON
LOUISBURG - Eleanor P. Denton went to be with the Lord, whom she loved so much, on Wednesday, February 20, 2013.  All whom she touched and loved will miss her greatly.  Her family and friends will always remember her as a sensitive, selfless and loving person who gave of herself tirelessly and totally.  She was 89 and a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She was a resident of Wentzville, Missouri and former resident of Louisburg, North Carolina and Houston, Texas.  She was a retired secretary with the Houston Independent School District. 

Visitation will be at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services in Louisburg, North Carolina Monday from 6 to 8 PM.  Funeral services will be held at Lancaster Funeral Home on Tuesday at 10AM with Pastor Shawn Wiebers officiating.  Interment will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.  Mrs. Denton is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Kyle Freeman of Henderson, Texas and Nancy and Donnie Griffin of Wentzville, Missouri; four grandchildren Christy Griffin Sobers and husband, Michael of Chantilly, VA, Stephen Freeman of Henderson, Texas, Jennifer Griffin Wiebers and husband, Shawn of Ada, Oklahoma, and Kelsey Hale of Louisburg, North Carolina; seven great-grandchildren, Meredith and Union Freeman, Nathan, Allison and Lily Sobers, and Haleigh and Carter Wiebers; a sister, Carolyn Jeffcoat of Greenwood, South Carolina; and a brother, Eugene Phillips of Houston, Texas; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Odell and Pauline McDaniel Phillips; her husband of 47 years, Thomas Randolph Denton and a daughter, Deborah Kaye Hale.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1097 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville, Missouri  63385 or to the charity of your choice.  Arrangements are being handled by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N.
