JAMES N. “PAPA” EASLEY
YOUNGSVILLE — James Nello Easley, 76, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at Unity Baptist Church, with the Rev. Harold Woodlief officiating. Burial will follow in Wake Forest Cemetery.

He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Elnora Crayton Easley and Charles Nello Easley. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church and was a retired letter carrier with the US Postal Service.

Surviving: wife, Barbara Easley; daughter, Dawn Mitchell of Youngsville; sons, Jerry Easley (Susan) of Franklinton and Jamie Easley (Elizabeth) of Youngsville; sister, Vickie Wall (Richard) of Zebulon; brother, Steve Easley of Raleigh; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; 

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Joan, Gloria and Sandra, and by his brothers, Ricky and Kenneth.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Unity Baptist Church Building Fund, 6348 NC Hwy 96 West, Youngsville, NC 27596.

Friends may visit with the family from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at Unity Baptist Church.
