CHARLES H. “SMILEY” PEARCE
RALEIGH - Charles Herman “Smiley” Pearce, 86, died Monday, May 6, 2013 at Rex Healthcare. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 8, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Chapel, Knightdale. Burial followed in Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.

He was born in Franklin County to the late Furney S. Pearce and Mattie May Pearce. He retired after 34 years as a supervisor with Coca Cola Bottling Company.

Surviving: wife, Ethel Medlin Pearce; eight nieces and one nephew.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Vera M. Pearce and Ruth P. Love; brothers, Wallace, Malcolm and Ovid Pearce.

Arrangements by L. Harold Poole Funeral Service, Knightdale.
