LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Willie McDonald “Mac” Clifton, 84, who died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, will be held Monday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m. at Nelson Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Sidney Dunston officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
Surviving: wife, Mary Clifton of the home; daughters, Lucy Sampson (Sizwe) of Washington, D.C., Sebrenda Clifton of Durham and Dana Clifton of the home; son, Ronnie Clifton (Janice) of Upper Marlboro, Md.; sister, Betty Lou Harris of Louisburg; brother, Irvin Clifton (Mary Rose) of Louisburg; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Open visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. Monday at Nelson Chapel Baptist Church.
