HELEN C. NORMAN
LOUISBURG - Helen Catlett Norman, 86, a resident of Franklin Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and a former resident of S. Cooper Drive in Henderson, died Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Born on January 11, 1928 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Robert S. Catlett and Lula Whitby Catlett.

She was a member of Central Baptist Church where she was a former member of the Senior Sunday School Class and Celebration Choir.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 26 at 11 a.m. in the J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bill Haley. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.

She is survived by one daughter, Dona Roberson Smith and husband, Danny of Louisburg; one son, Archie Samuel Roberson of Kittrell; one brother, Albert Catlett and wife, Betsy of Henderson; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth “Liby” Roberson Van-Zandt.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. prior to the service at J.M. White Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Arrangements are by J.M. White Funeral Home.
