LOUISBURG - Hazel Wilson Burkam, 82, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, Louisburg. Family and friends will be received immediately following the service.
She was the only child of Doris Harrell and Austin Ira Wilson.
Surviving: husband, Arthur M. Burkham Jr.; children, Cheryl Burkam Hight (Sam), Arthur M. Burkam III (Gail), and Annette B. Harris, all of Louisburg; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in honor of Hazel Burkam to the Tar River Baptist Association of Retired Ministers Assistance Fund. |
