BOBBY LUCAS WESTER
FRANLINTON, NC - Bobby Lucas Wester, 75, of Franklinton died Friday, November 1, 2013 at home. Bobby was born on January 29, 1938 to the late Joseph Clyde Wester and Sadie Gupton Wester.

He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Bobby loved fishing and never found anything broken he could not fix. It gave him great joy to help his family and friends.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Dorothy Piper Wester; his sons, Anthony Brent Wester and friend, Sue Fisher of Louisburg; Tommy Piper and wife, Carol of Franklinton; his daughters, Linda Frederickson and husband, Clark of Franklinton; Deborah Stallings and husband, Al of Youngsville; his sister, Annie Gupton of Louisburg; his grandchildren, Daniel Wester, Haley Wester, Mark Anthony Garrett, E.A. Stallings, J.R. Stallings, Abbie Dorsey, Ashton Webb, David Frederickson, Ben Dorsey, Brandi Mincey and Josh Frederickson; great-grandchildren, Holden Edwards, Deacon Garrett, Addison Hardy, and Karsen Garrett.

Bobby was predeceased by his siblings, Ruth Weldon, Margaret Swanson, Delphia Wester, Catherine Shearon, Mary Plummer Twitty, Elistine Allen, Millard Wester and Pattie Wester.

A funeral service was held 11:00 AM on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Franklinton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Helen Champion and the Rev. David Averette officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery.

Friends visited from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton.

Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions may be made to Franklinton United Methodist Church, 109 N. Main Street, Franklinton, NC  27525.

The Wester family is under the care of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton, N.C.
