MAURICE C. “PETE” JOYNER
TUCKER, GA - Maurice Clifton (Pete) Joyner, 65, of Tucker, Georgia, formerly of Louisburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 following a brief illness. A Celebration of Pete’s Life was held at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Tucker, Ga.

Pete was the son of the late Maurice Clifton Joyner and Kathryn Foster Joyner, both of Louisburg.

Pete was a graduate of Louisburg High School and East Carolina University.  He had made his home in the Atlanta area for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Maggui Butler Joyner of the home, and two sons: David Andrew Joyner, also of Tucker, GA and Christoper Stapleton Joyner of Garner. Donations in his memory can be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Louisburg or to Network of Caring atnetworkofcaring.org.
