ANITA L. MATTHEWS
FRANKLINTON—Anita Louise Matthews, 50, of Franklinton, died Saturday, Jan. 4 after a brief illness. The family will be present 10-11 a.m. Friday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service (Franklinton Chapel), 504 East Mason St., Franklinton, where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m.

A native of Poughkeepsie, NY, she was born to Robert and Wanda Robinson Sackett. She and her husband have resided in Franklinton for seven years. Anita was preceded in death by her father, Robert, and a sister, Patricia Sackett.

Surviving are: her husband, Andrew H. “Andy” Matthews of  Franklinton; her mother, Wanda M. Sackett of Wake Forest; three brothers, Robert (Pam) Sackett of Hudson, NY, Bruce (Nancy) Sackett of Youngsville and Michael (Ailene) Sackett of Youngsville; three sisters, Judy (William) Crocco of Youngsville, Sharon (Pete) Sackett of Gainesville, Fla., and Wendy (Al) Briggs of Orlando, Fla.
