ESTELLE C. MURRAY
LOUISBURG - Estelle Cyrus Murray, 95, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at Louisburg Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel with the Rev. Bill Haley officiating.  Interment will follow in the Maple Springs Baptist Church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  

She was born on Oct. 22, 1918 to the late Emmitt and Adelle Frazier Cyrus.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Sidney Murray, and her daughter, Janet M. Boyles.   Throughout her life she was a member at Harris Chapel Baptist Church and Maple Springs Baptist Church. 

Surviving: sons, Sidney Lee (Betty) Murray of Franklinton, Richard (Brenda) Murray of Louisiana; daughter, Rochelle (Royster, Jr.) Harris; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
