JEANNE E. WILLIAMS

LOUISBURG - Jeanne Ellington Williams, 85, of Louisburg died Friday, April 18, 2014 at Wake Medical Center. Born January 17, 1929, Jeanne was the only child of the late Herman S. and Myrtle Hunt Ellington.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Billy Owen Williams; her daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn Williams of Youngsville, Terry and Rick Whitfield of Pittsboro, and Nancy and John Dickerson of Raleigh, four grandchildren, Hill, Kathryn, Patrick and Katie; and eight great-grandchildren. The greatest legacy she passed along to these children was her character and her faith.

She was an active member of Louisburg Baptist Church as long as her health would allow. Jeanne was involved in her community while living at Wrightsville Beach and more recently in Franklin County. Mrs. Williams volunteered her time at Cape Fear Medical Center while living in the Wilmington area and then Franklin Regional once moving to Franklin County.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd at 3:00 p,m, at Louisburg Baptist Church with the Reverend Reggie Rushing officiating.
