LINDA L. O’CONNOR

LOUISBURG - Linda S. O’Connor, 72, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014 at her home. Funeral service was held Thursday, Aug. 29, at Pearces Baptist Church. Burial will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst, N. J.

She was born in Brooklyn, N. Y., to Jack and Mildred Landis. She worked as a legal account supervisor for 13 years at FCA in New Jersey. After moving to North Carolina, she became secretary at Pearce Baptist Church in Zebulon where she and her husband were members.

Surviving: mother, Mildred Landis; sister, Joanne Landis; husband Raymond O’Connor; children, Olga Skinner and Christopher J. Moraitis; stepchildren, Barbara Ann Reggie, Raymond O’Connor, Jr., Deborah Sverduk, Dierdre Donadio, Daniel O’Connor, Marlene Biggy; and four grandchildren.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 600 Airport Blvd., Suite 100, Morrisville, NC 27560.
