ALTON G. LEONARD, SR.
January 26, 1943 – September 10, 2014

CASTALIA – Alton Glenn Leonard, Sr., 71, of the White Level Community, died Wednesday evening.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Leonard.

A graveside service was held 11 a.m. Friday in the Leonard Family Cemetery with the Reverend Henry Stamper officiating. The family received friends immediately following the service.

Alton is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Linda P. Leonard; mother, Judith Leonard; sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Amy Leonard, Rodney and Irene Leonard, all of the White Level Community; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa L. and Richard Young of Oxford; stepson, Michael and Tina Peoples of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Taylor and Ethan Young; Skylar and Lexi Glenn Leonard; Amber and Ashton Leonard; Mckayla Peoples.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Level Baptist Church or White Level Baptist Church Relay for Life Team, 2400 White Level Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.
