LOUISBURG - Marjorie Jones Gupton, 93, of Louisburg, died Sunday morning.

Mrs. Gupton was a daughter of the late George and Agnes P. Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nack Gupton; sister, Ruth J. Frazier; brothers, Linwood Jones and Clarence Jones.

A funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Reverend Daren Smart officating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be private in the Gupton Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Gupton is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra G. and Donnie Shearin; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Vicki Gupton, all of Louisburg; grandchildren, Jason Shearin and wife, Shelly; Jeff Shearin and wife, Michele; great-grandchildren, Justin, Josh, Shane, Larkin, and Darby Lynn Shearin.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mountain Grove Baptist Church, 834 Alert Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.
