LENA MAE D. LEONARD
FRANKLINTON - Lena Mae Dickerson Leonard, 79, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Franklin Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. today (Saturday, March 17) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest. Entombment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. Leonard was born in Vance County, daughter of the late Ester Ayscue Dickerson and Oscar Dickerson, and later married Douglas Nelson Leonard, who preceded her in death. She was retired from Corning Glass where she was an inspector.

Surviving: her sons, Steve C. (Mary) of Raleigh and Tim (Vicki) Leonard of Winston-Salem; brother, Thomas (Phyllis) Dickerson of Franklinton; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to the Franklinton Baptist Church, 108 West Mason St., Franklinton, NC 27525, or to the Franklinton Senior Citizens Center, 602 East Mason St., Franklinton, NC 27525.

Friends may visit with the family from 1-3 p.m. today (Saturday) at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Wake Forest.
