LOUISBURG - James Ruffin "Wagon Man" Fowler Jr., 69, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 9, 2014. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at New Hope Christian Church with the Rev. Steve Barham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He was a son of the late James and Ora Fowler. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Fowler, and his brother, Walter Fowler.
Surviving: wife, Teresa C. Fowler; sons, James (Cindy) Fowler of Louisburg, Bobby (Lisa) Fowler of Youngsville; sister, Becky F. Baker of Louisburg; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
