MILDRED M. BOBBIT

LOUISBURG - Mildred Graham Murray Bobbit, 87, of Louisburg died Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Born on October 29, 1927 to the late Millard and Pattie Jo Thompson Murray. She was employed with the FBI and the USDA for 40 years.

Graveside services were held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Stuart Lamkin officiating. The family received friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Hickory Rock Baptist Church, 1580 Firetower Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.

She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Clarence Eugene Bobbit, Jr.; her son, Clarence Eugene "Gene" Bobbit, III; her daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Sam McCullough of Alphretta, GA; her grandchildren, Buffy Broughton, Joseph Bobbit, Clay and Sean McCullough; 11 great-grandchildren; her brother, Roland Murray; and her sisters, Jean Goff and Janice Mills.
