LOUISBURG - Ronald Roy Garland, 82, of Louisburg, died Sunday evening at his home surrounded by his family.
Ronald was a son of the late Clay and Esther Garland. He was a retired electrician.
A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday evening at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle with the Reverend Mark Tondee officiating. A private burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Judy Garland; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Mark Tondee of Bunn; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Julie Garland of Lancaster, PA; grandchildren, Matthew, Steven, Jonathan, and Cassie Tondee; Nick, and Nate Garland; 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Christian School, 394 Ferrells Bridge Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.
