GENEVIEVE H. WILKINS (Jan. 28, 1932 – Mar. 18, 2007)
LOUISBURG – Genevieve Heavner Wilkins, 75, of Louisburg, died Sunday morning.

Mrs. Wilkins was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years on March 3, 2007 and now they are reunited. She was a daughter of the late Lee and Sarah Ratliffe Heavner. She was a manager of Shoe Show for 17 years in Louisburg.

Survivors include children, James H. Wilkins and wife, Resa L. Harris of Charlotte, Gloria Watson and husband, Bob of Powder Springs, GA, Jerry M. Wilkins and wife Patricia of Greenville, NC, Rodney V. Wilkins and companion Arlevia Howell of Louisburg; sister, Zella Rumer of Belpre, OH; grandchildren, Brian and Tony Watson, Chad Wilkins, Kelly and Kayla Blevins, Kimberly and Cody Howell; six great-grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Sneakers.

Private services will be held at a later date in Baker, WV.

Memorials to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 305 N. Church Street, Louisburg, NC 27549.

Strickland Funeral Home served the family of Mrs. Wilkins.
