MARGUERITE B. CURRIN
September 3, 1937 - April 17, 2015

LOUISBURG - Marguerite Baker Currin, 77, of Louisburg, died Friday evening.

Marguerite was a daughter of the late, George B. Baker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ryland S. Currin; brother, Ray Baker.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in White Level Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Marguerite is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Colleen C. and Leo Bennett; Rita C. and David Duke, all of Louisburg; sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Karen Currin of Hartsville, SC; Dwayne and Tonya Currin of Louisburg; mother, Rosa Lee Baker; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara Jean and Cordell Richards, all of Youngsville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Libby Baker of Rolesville; Wayne and Carol Baker of Louisburg; James and Lewtisha Baker of Youngsville; grandchildren, Andrew Duke, Alex Currin, Jackson Currin, Daniel Currin, Deirdre Currin, Jesse Currin and Alex Hursey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Carolina Stroke Association, Piedmont Plaza 2, Ward A. Riley Ultrasound Center, 2000 West First Street, Suite 504, Winston-Salem, North Carolina 27104.
