FRANKLINTON --Debra Kemp Batchelor, 67, widow of Arnold Martin Batchelor, died the morning of August 29, 2015. She was born to the late Ansel Nathaniel Kemp and Mary Ann Robins Kemp (surviving). The memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home in Clarksville, Va. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.
She was born in Mecklenburg County, Va., and was a graduate of the Bluestone High School Class of 1966.
Surviving: her mother, Mary Ann Robins Kemp of Clarksville, Va.; daughter, Marjorie Batchelor of McCormick, S.C.; sister, Morado Angel of Clarksville, Va.; one grandson; one aunt and uncle; and many cousins.
