FRED R. BECKHAM

KITTRELL - Fred R. Beckham, 76, died after a long and courageous fight with cancer. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Plank Chapel United Methodist Church, 3047 Bobbitt Road, Kittrell.

He was retired from a military career in the US Army, having served two tours of duty in Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Edna L. Beckham, and his brothers, Dan, Walter and Sidney Beckham.

He is survived by his children, Monica Tate, Pamela Moss, Thomas Beckham and Michael Beckham; sisters Roxie Kearney and Mary Etta Wills, both of Kittrell; brothers, Ronnie (Patricia) Beckham of Louisburg, and Harvey (Carol) Beckham of Creedmoor. six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, In Germany he is survived by his wife, Christi Beckham, stepson Michael Findeisen and two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
