DENNIS CLIFTON MUSTIAN

LOUISBURG - Dennis Clifton Mustian, 82, died at his home on October 31, 2015 after a period of declining health problems. He was a life-long resident of Franklin County and was the son of the late Clyde Mustian, Sr. and Lucy Bobbit Mustian. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Clyde, Jr., Walter, Forrest; his sisters, Mary Mustian Thomas and Ruth Mustian; two wives Adaleen Harris Mustian and Iva Lyn Shearin Mustian; and his beloved poodle and companion, Molly.

After his service in the US Army, he returned to Louisburg and along with his brother, Walter, established Mustian Brothers Construction Company, which he owned and operated for many years. He was the premier builder of houses and commercial buildings not only in Franklin County, but also in the surrounding counties.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Jeanette Jones Mustian; two sons, Blake and Timmy Mustian, both of Louisburg; one brother, Garland Mustian of Louisburg; two sisters, Lillian Mustian (Allen) Shearin of Louisburg and Joyce Mustian Inabinett of Lexington, NC; one grandchild, Brooke Mustian; two stepdaughters, Nancy Wright of Goose Creek, SC and Gwen Martin of Hurst, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service with military honors was held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg, with the Rev. Joel Story officiating. Interment followed in Oakwood Cemetery.
