ANNE JOYNER HARRIS

RALEIGH - Anne Marie Joyner Harris, 85, of Raleigh, died Saturday November 28, 2015. At 10:07 a.m. Anne took her last breath on Earth and at 10:08 a.m. she took her first breath in Heaven with her Savior. She was born on November 14, 1930 to the late Amos Victor and Eula Gupton Joyner.

Anne was legally blind and a very independent woman. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Anne's life was lived for her sons, and their families. She was a resident at Capital Towers in Raleigh where she was loved by her friends and neighbors.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Louisburg, with Rev. Caden Williamson officiating

She is survived by her sons, Thomas B. Harris Jr. and his wife Pam of Roanoke Rapids and Anthony N. Harris of San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Christie Story and Michael Rivenbark; her great-grandchildren, Kaylee Story and Chase Vann; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her four-legged grandchildren who loved " Granny Annie".
