LOUISBURG - Larry Collins Shearin, 63, died Monday at his home after a long battle with COPD. A celebration of life service will be held at White Level Baptist Church Fellowship Hall from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 19. Burial services will be private.
He was born in Portsmouth, Va., son of the late William and Grace Shearin, and brother of Clifton Shearin.
Surviving, his sons, Kevin Brian Shearin (Ashley) of Wake Forest and Eric Scott Shearin (Caroline) of Louisburg; sister, Carolyn Shearin Tharrington (Charlie); ex-wife, Sandra T. Shearin; and two grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to White Level EMS Services, 2465 White Level Road, Louisburg NC 27549 or Hospice Transitions Care, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh NC 27607.
