FRANKLINTON - Jesse Ray Bolden Jr., 75, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016. Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 11, at New Liberty Baptist Church, Louisburg, with the Rev. Jamil Crosson officiating.
He was born in Louisburg to the late Jesse Bolden Sr. and Laura Marie Hawkins. His last employment was with Waste Industries, where he worked for 20 years until his health began to fail.
One son, Ronald Scharrod Bolden, preceded him in death.
Surviving: sons, Harvey Bolden (Teresa) of Franklinton and Keith Novack Bolden of Durham; sisters, Linda Chavis, Louise Bolden, Lula Wardrick (Oscar), all of Louisburg, Lethia Ealey, Barbara Bolden and Dorothy Bolden, all of Virginia, and Dorothy Hinton of Maryland; brothers, William Hawkins of Durham, Donald Hawkins of Mebane, Joseph Bolden (Barbara) of Little Rock, Ark., and Leroy and Cliff Bolden, both of Virginia; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
