LOUISBURG - James Donald Cole, 78, of Louisburg died Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at his home. He was born on June 19, 1937 to the late Arlis and Eva Lindsey Cole. Donald lived in Hendersonville, NC until finally making his home in Franklin County in 2001. He was preceded in death by his wives, Margaret Cole and Faye Breedlove Cole; his two brothers, Carol and Gordon Cole; and his sister, Hazel Cole.

The family will receive friends on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Degrow and the Rev. Dustin Mace officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Overman of Hendersonville, NC; his stepson, Anthony Wester (Sue Fisher) of Louisburg; and three step-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Building Fund, 111 Laurel Mill Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.
