PEARL J. BLACKNALL

YOUNGSVILLE - Funeral services for Pearl J. Blacknall, 83, who died Monday, April 11, 2016, will be held Thursday, April 14, at 1 p.m. at Allen Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church, with Elder Jerry Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Baptist Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Adell Irvin of Dorchester, Mass., Mary Howell of Durham, Arlene Blacknall White (James) of Henderson, Geraldine Hendricks (Alford) of the home, Nancy Ruffin (Robert) of Youngsville, Patricia Yarborough and Bobbie Blacknall (Roger), all of Louisburg, Robin Brooks (Tony) of Franklinton, Sharon Blacknall of Louisburg and Angela Jefferson (Julius) of Youngsville; sons, Benjamin Bowers (Jennifer) of Durham, Joseph Blacknall Jr. of Halifax, and Jimmy Blacknall of Henderson; sister, Emma Stokes of Louisburg; brother, Eugene Johnson (Ethel) of Philadelphia, Pa.; 32 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and a host of great-great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Wednesday, April 13, from 3 to 7 p.m.
