ALRIDGE E. WOODLIEF

HENDERSON - Alridge Edward Woodlief, 55, a resident of 466 Buckskin Lane, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Sept. 18, at 3 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church by the Rev. Ricky Easter. Burial will follow in the Union Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of Kenneth Edward Woodlief and wife, Velvet of Henderson and the late Gaynell Layton Woodlief. He was an employee of M. R. Williams, Inc. and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Lynn Smith Woodlief of the home; one daughter, Michelle W. Tharrington, and husband, Stewart of Omaha, Neb.; one son, Andrew Woodlief of Henderson; brother, Bradley Kevin Woodlief of Warrenton; and two grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Glen Woodlief.

The family will receive friends on Sunday prior to the service from 1:30 until 3 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church. At other times they will be at the home on Buckskin Lane.
