JOYCE EAGLES GRIFFIN

LOUISBURG - Hazel Joyce Eagles Griffin, 75, of Louisburg went to be with the Lord early Thursday morning at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born on September 2, 1941 to the late Dr. Richard and Mrs. Mattie Wilder Eagles. Joyce retired as the librarian at Louisburg High School.

A celebration of Joyce's life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Louisburg United Methodist Church with the Reverend Mike Safley officiating. The burial will be held earlier on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery.

Joyce is survived by her husband, William Floyd Griffin, Jr.; sons, William Floyd Griffin, III (Lori) and Richard Griffin (Dana); her daughter, Jennifer Grady; nine grandchildren, Addie, Cailyn, Nick, Briana, Brad, Blake, Brandon, Eva and Sullivan; and her sister, Jane Allen (Bob).
