MARTHA LOUCHHEIM SKEANS

SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Martha Louchheim Skeans, 75, of Scottsdale, AZ, went to be with The Lord on March 15, 2017.

She was born on July 8, 1941 in Louisburg, NC to the late James Cleveland and Nannie Leonard Wrenn. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.

Martha is survived by her husband of 14 years, Clark Skeans; sons, Steven Louchheim (Cheryl) of Tallahassee, FL, Tom Harris III (Elaine) of Louisburg, NC, and Robbie Louchheim (Janet) of Scottsdale, AZ; daughters, Patty Kilpatrick (Keith) and Kristine Britt; grandchildren, Joshua Louchheim (Kaitlyn), Elizabeth (Sean) Christman, Nichole Chambers (Tom), Heather Harris-Lewis (Bradley), Anna Pekerol (Kyle), Katharine Harris, Lance Louchheim, Alexis Harris, Connor Kilpatrick, Ruben, Staci, and James Louchheim; great-grandchildren, Nate Howell and Ryan Louchheim, Monroe and Macy Chambers, Sean Jr. and Megan Christman, and Isla Lewis; sisters, Betty Burnette of Louisburg, NC, Gwynda Martin (Tom Gould) of Holly Spring, NC, Melanie Armstrong of Lincoln, NE; brother, Jimmy Wrenn (Carlee) of Alexandria, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Martha was a long-time member of Scottsdale Bible Church. After retiring, she volunteered at the Honor Health Hospital, was a member and past President of the Phoenix Zoo Auxiliary, held offices with the Safari International Motor Home group and other civic groups. She traveled extensively and loved spending time with her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Louisburg Baptist Church, 302 N. Main St., Louisburg, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Phoenix Zoo Auxiliary, 455 N Galvin Pkwy, Phoenix, AZ 85008 or Honor Health Foundation, 8125 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85258.
