JEANETTE B. MCGHEE

LOUISBURG - Katherine Jeanette Boland McGee, 70, of Louisburg went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. Born on May 8, 1946 to the late Kenneth Blair and Geneva Grace Wagner Boland. Jeanette sang in the choir at Plank Chapel United Methodist Church. Jeanette loved reading, shopping and cooking.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Plank Chapel United Methodist Church with Reverend Carolyn Roy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Jeanette is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Freddie McGhee; daughter, Jennifer McGhee (Kenneth Hayes); step-grandson, Brandon Hayes; sister, Angie Qualls (Harvey); brother, Rick Boland (Lisa); and many nieces and nephews.
