FRANKLINTON --Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Joyner, 87, died Monday, May 22, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton.
She was born Sept. 17, 1929, in Granville County to the late Edna Louise Ford Baker and the late John Alexander Baker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, as well as her husband, James Sydney Joyner.
Surviving: a daughter, Carol Louise Joyner Lukosius (Michael) of Youngsville; two grandsons; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Betsy's family requests that those who wish to do so remember her with a donation to the ASPCA, a children's charity or charity of one's choice
