WAKE FOREST--Johnny Edward Johnson, 72, died Tuesday morning June 20, 2017 at his residence. A memorial service honoring his life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 24, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mark Pergerson officiating.
He was born in Johnston County, the son of the late Eliza Bunn Johnson and Ashley Ivey Johnson.
Surviving: his wife, Dora Mae Johnson; daughters, Tanya McCord (Bob) of Franklinton and Maranda Mason (Rod) of Louisburg; a sister, Josephine "Jo" Wall (Doug) of Clayton; and three grandchildren.
