DAVID W. SATTERWHITE

LOUISBURG--David Wayne Satterwhite, 22, a resident of 13 Dement Lane, died Monday, June 19, 2017. Born in Vance County on December 12, 1994, he was the son of Amy Bowden of Norlina and the late David Eugene Satterwhite. He was an employee of Rider Construction Co., and was a member of Mt. Ararat Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 23, 2017, at 2 pm at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Allen Ayscue and Rev. Barbara Watkins.
Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.

He is survived by his mother, Amy Bowden and fiancé, Paul Schuster of Norlina; two brothers, Roy Satterwhite and Jacob Satterwhite of Henderson; one sister, Jessica Schuster of Norlina; his paternal grandmother, Anne Ayscue Satterwhite of Henderson; two nephews, Daniel Satterwhite and Sal Satterwhite; one niece, Summer Satterwhite; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wayne Bowden and Molly Dement Bowden; his paternal grandfather, William Alfred "Jabo" Satterwhite; and one brother, Daniel Eugene Satterwhite.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 until 2 pm at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church. At other times they will be at the home of his mother at 225 Everette Harris Lane, Norlina, and at the home of his grandmother, Anne Satterwhite, 217 Garrett Road, Henderson.

Serving as active pall bearers will be Dustin Ayscue, Austin Faulkner, Damien Faulkner, Lil Carlos Lopez, James Satterwhite, Jr., Michael Lopez, Kevin Lopez, and Jackson Ellis.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mt. Ararat Pentecostal Holiness Church, 295 Southside Estates Court, Henderson, NC 27537 or to South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church, 905 Americal Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
Arrangements are by J. M. White Funeral Home.
