TAYLOR RYAN HALFORD

WAKE FOREST - Taylor Ryan Halford, 24, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017. He was born in Shelby County, TN, the son of Scott and Margaret "Maggie" Hodges Halford. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wade Halford.

A funeral service honoring his life was held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, July 10, 2017, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Averette officiating. Burial followed in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

Taylor is survived by his parents, Scott and Maggie Halford of Wake Forest; grandparents, Joe and Vicky Writesman of Bucksnort, TN, Carl and Susan Halford of Melbourne, FL; aunt, Janet Davis of Bucksnort, TN; uncles, David Hodges and wife Simone of Hohenwald, TN, Steve Halford and wife Karen of Palm Bay, FL; many loving great-aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends visited with the family from 3-6 Sunday afternoon, July 9, 2017, at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 South Main St., Wake Forest, NC 27587. (919-556-5811)

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Franklinton High School in care of The Halford Scholarship. Donations may be mailed to Franklinton High School, c/o The Halford Scholarship, 910 Cedar Creek Road, Franklinton, NC 27525. Please make checks payable to: Franklinton High School.
