DEBORAH JEAN WHEELER

YOUNGSVILLE--Deborah Jean Wheeler, 56, went home to be with the Lord on September 11, 2017. She was born on July 12, 1961.

Deborah graduated from Bunn High School in 1980. She worked at Tom Togs in Youngsville for 14 years and at the Louisburg Food Lion for 20 years. She was a very active and beloved member of Youngsville Baptist Church where she served faithfully. She attended Sunday school, sang in the choir and was a member of the Baptist Women.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Youngsville Baptist Church, 315 E Main St., Youngsville. Rev. Charles Stratton will preside. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery, Louisburg.

Deborah is survived by: her mother, Roylene Wheeler; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy Wheeler, Wanda and Bruce Allen, Pam and Chet Gurganus; nephews and nieces, Adam, Niki and Michael Allen, Blake, Colleen and Makayla Allen, Alex and Ben Gurganus; aunt, Rochelle Baker; and numerous cousins.

Deborah loved Jesus, her family, friends, babies, church, music, good food, bingo and animals, especially horses. She worked many years raising funds for Relay for Life.

Deborah loved, and was loved, very deeply.

The family will be present 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest, (919-556-5811).
