JACK F. STONE
February 13, 1941 - September 29, 2017

LOUISBURG - Jack Fisher Stone, 76, of Louisburg, left us peacefully on September 29, 2017 and is now in the care of our Lord.

Jack was a son of the late Charlie Fisher Stone and Sally Hayes Stone. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Fannie Jane Stone, Rachel Taylor, Alma Gaskill, Martha Vaughan, Gertie Ayscue and Sadie Burnette, and brother, Ransom Stone.

Jack is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jackie S. and Kevin Coyne; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Joan Stone; grandson, Matthew Stone; sister, Nellie Freeman, all of Louisburg; brothers, Dr. Raymond Stone and wife, Rachel of Hendersonville; Dr. Paul Stone of Fuquay-Varina; many nieces and nephews; and special canine companion, Snowball.

A funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 2, at New Hope Christian Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

The family received friends from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg, and other times at the home of Mark and Joan Stone, 1238 Clifton Pond Rd., Louisburg.
