"BILL" EDWARD B. AYSCUE December 29, 1949 - November 3, 2017

ZEBULON - Edward Burwell "Bill" Ayscue, 67, of Zebulon, passed away Friday at his home.

Bill was a son of the late Burl and Elizabeth Ayscue. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carrie A. Daniels.

He was an Army Veteran and a member of Rock Spring Baptist Church.

A funeral service was held 11 a.m. Monday at Rock Spring Baptist Church with the Rev. Melton Tyson officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ayscue; daughters, Angela Ayscue and Anna Marie Ayscue; stepdaughters, Kimberly Stewart and Amy Sproul; sisters, Patricia Beckham (Ronnie) and Charlene Finch (Freddie); brothers, Hugh Ayscue, Joe Ayscue, Gar B. Ayscue, Sr. (Judy) and Edward Medlin; brother-in-law, A.C. Daniels; granddaughter, Zoe Alston; step-grandchildren, Timothy George, Zachary George, Abigail Sproul, Anthony Sproul, Jr. and Aaron Sproul; step-great-grandson, Grayson George; many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Spring Baptist Church, Van Fund, 34 Rock Spring Church Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family received friends 3 - 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg, www.stricklandfuneralhome.net.
