LUCILLE H. WINSTEAD
LOUISBURG – Lucille Harris Winstead, 75, of 1569 NC Hwy. 98 W., died Thursday morning at her home.

Lucille was the daughter of the late Samuel Daniel and Hazel Terrell Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Closs Winstead; her granddaughter, Amy Marie Winstead; and brother, Bobby Harris.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Melton Tyson officiating. Burial will follow in Bunn Memorial Gardens.

Lucille is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Hildred Briggs, Linda and Tommy Twitty, son, Robert Winstead; grandchildren, Christy Murray and husband Austin, Barrett Twitty and Claren Twitty; great-granddaughters, Ashby and Addison Murray, all of Louisburg; special friend, Dorothy Jones of Bunn.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Bunn Baptist Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 144, Bunn, NC 27508 or Rock Spring Baptist Church, Building Fund, 34 Rock Spring Church Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral and other times at the home.
