DENISE "DEE" PRIEBE READING

FRANKLINTON--Denise "Dee" Priebe Reading, 68, of Franklinton, formerly of Burlington, Iowa, departed this earthly life on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at her home. She was born on August 13, 1949 to the late Otis and Evelyn Creech Priebe. Dee was a woman who loved reading her Bible, loved her family, spending time on the farm with her parents, fishing and spending time at her beach house, Wildwood Flower at Emerald Isle. She was born and raised in Wyaconda, Missouri and graduated class of 1967 from Wyaconda High School. Dee continued her education by getting her Bachelor's Degree from South Eastern Community College of Burlington, Iowa, in computer programming. She worked in Telecommunication and Dispatch for NC State Capitol Police Department until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Niylah Moneek McGee.

She is survived by her daughters, Dena Reading and Brianne Reading; grandchildren, Ray McGee (Breyanna), Israel Smith and Briella Fogg; sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl Priebe-Worden (Butch); and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held Thursday at 5:00 pm at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason Street, Franklinton.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the grandchildren's educational fund at 1652 Mt. Olivet Church Road, Franklinton, NC 27525.
