Willie Milton Brannan Jr. passed away on April 17, 2018 after a brief illness. Born Sept. 1, 1932, he was the only son of the late Willie Milton Brannan Sr. and Polly Hopkins Brannan of the Hopkins community.
Willie was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Jane Rogers Brannan. Survivors: son-Andy Brannan (Mary) of Zebulon; daughter-Abigail Brannan (David Matthews) of Dunedin, FL; two grandchildren; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Sunday, April 22, at Zebulon Baptist Church, immediately followed by visitation. Family will be at the home on Saturday, April 21 between 1 - 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Zebulon Baptist Church's music department at P.O. Box 366, 400 N. Arendell Ave., Zebulon, N.C. 27597 or to Johnston Health Foundation, P.O.
