WAKE FOREST - Heathy W. “H.W.” (Pack) Chalk Jr., 68, died Sunday, July 8, 2007 at his home. A memorial service was conducted Tuesday, July 10, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Wells officiating.

He was born in Franklin County, the son of the late Nolie Wilson Chalk and Heathy W. Chalk Sr. Mr. Chalk was retired from Pepsi Cola Bottling Company.

Surviving: his wife, Melba Edwards Chalk; son, Eddie Chalk of Raleigh; daughter, Glenda Morris of Keystone Heights, Fla.; brothers, Bobby Chalk (Carolyn) of Zebulon, Harvey Chalk (Jeanie) and Linwood Chalk (Susan), all of Wendell; sisters, Elsie Narron of Raleigh and Betty Keith (Ralph) of Rolesville; stepdaughter, Rhonda Joy Edwards of Bunn; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and five step-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wake Forest Church of God, 155 East Cedar Ave., Wake Forest, NC 27587.
