KILL DEVIL HILLS - Margaret Huggin Johnson, 90, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at Britthaven of Outer Banks. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, July 28) at Louisburg United Methodist Church.

Born in Gaffney, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Forrest and Mamie Lavender Huggin and was the widow of Robert Lee Johnson. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lee Johnson Rose. Mrs. Johnson was a retired director of geriatric psychiatry with John Umstead Hospital and was a former public school teacher.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by a granddaughter, Amy Rose Taylor of Kill Devil Hills; and a brother, Forrest Edward Huggin of San Diego, Calif.
