THELMA R. HALL
YOUNGSVILLE - Thelma Roberts Hall, 92, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007 at Hillside Nursing Center. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Aug. 5, at Youngsville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charles Stratton officiating. Burial followed in Youngsville Cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Annie Perry Roberts and C. H. Roberts Sr. A teacher in Franklin and Wake counties for 38 years, she was awarded life membership in the National Education Association. The Youngsville Public Library was established under her leadership and she was a member of the Franklin County Library Board.

Surviving: sisters, Pattie Cash and Linda Wiggins of Louisburg; brother, Marvin Roberts of Youngsville; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Hall; daughter, Kay Chesson Rardin; sisters, Edna Bridges and Ruth Boykin; and a brother, C. H. Roberts Jr.
