WILLIAM “BILL” BRANTLEY

ZEBULON – William Brantley, 81, of Zebulon died August 27, 2007. Mr. Brantley was a son of the late Graham Vann and Ina Medlin Brantley.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Zebulon Town Cemetery with the Rev. Shane Brantley and the Rev. Jimmy Carpenter officiating.

Surviving: daughter, Janie Donaldson and her husband, John of Zebulon; sisters, Betty Denton of Zebulon, Willie Williams of St. Mary’s, GA, and Frankie Bissette of Virginia Beach, VA; granddaughters, Pam Hight of Zebulon, Michelle Woody and her husband, Chris of Zebulon; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Whitney Hight.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Carter Brantley; sisters, Margaret Moore, Addie Hales, Inez Black; and brothers, Weldon “Bud” Brantley, C.H. “Butler” Brantley and Leroy Brantley.

The family will receive friends 7 – 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg, and other times at the home of Janie and John Donaldson, 75 Bill’s Way, Zebulon.
