DENNIS YOUNG
LOUISBURG - Dennis Young, 51, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007 at his residence. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, Oct. 6) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. J. Marshall Neathery officiating.

Mr. Young was born in Forsyth County, the son of the late Connie Pearce Young Hood and James Wilson Young. He was a self-employed painter and a veteran of the U. S. Army.

Surviving: his wife, Phyllis S. Young; daughters, Tiea Young-Johnston (Randy) of Burgaw, Samantha Nicole Young of Louisburg; son, James Logan Young of Louisburg; brothers, the Rev. Darell Young (Betty) of Sandersville, Ga., Eugene Young (Deanna) of Lewisville; sister, Donna Thompson (Jackie) of Rolesville; and three grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made “In Memory of Dennis Young” for the care of his children, Samantha and Logan, c/o Frances Alexander, 628 Pine Knoll Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.

The family will receive friends after the service at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest, and all other times at the home of Donna and Jackie Thompson, 12124 Louisburg Road, Wake Forest.
