R. EPP CATLETT SR.
LOUISBURG - Rommie Epp Catlett Sr., 83, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007 at his home. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Oct. 28, at Flat Rock Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gary McNair officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Catlett was born in Franklin County, son of the late Fannie Wiggins Catlett and the late Rom Cashwell Catlett. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in WWII.

Surviving: his wife, Mildred Morris Catlett; daughter, Crystal Catlett of Louisburg; sons, Rommie E. Catlett Jr. (Christine) of Warrenton, Va., and Morris Catlett (Pam) of Cary; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 S. Mary’s St., 4th Floor, Raleigh, NC 27605 or to Flat Rock Baptist Church Building Fund, 1529 Flat Rock Church Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.
