ELSIE P. CHEATHAM
FRANKLINTON - Elsie Perry Cheatham, 70, died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at WakeMed in Raleigh. Services were conducted Friday, May 26, at Hawkins Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Franklinton, with the Rev. Walter S. Taylor officiating.

Born in Creedmoor, she was the daughter of the late Clem Perry Sr. and Elsie Green Perry. She was preceded in death by one son, Linwood Perry; one sister, Alice Perry; and one grandson.

Surviving: daughter, Linda Watson (Earl) of the home; sons, Claudis Caldwell (Fredericka) of Raleigh, Calvin Caldwell (Lora) of Raleigh, and Clarence Cheatham of Garner; sisters, Beart Truitt Braswell of Durham, Willie Mae Keeler of Raleigh, Mirfe Perry of Washington, D.C,, Sarah Brown (Lambert) of Brooklyn, N.Y., Betty Bailey of Creedmoor, and Dianne Hinton of Franklinton; brothers, Clem Perry Jr. of Franklinton, James Perry (Monique) of Wilmington, Tommy Perry of Franklinton, Danny Perry of Franklinton and Larry Perry of Raleigh; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
